I was in Ottawa for OmniMark Training from Exoterica the last 2 weeks of June, 1995. These photos were taken while I was there.

Being the capitol, there are many public monuments and museums. The church is the Basilica Norte Dame and the other buildings a hotel. Both of these pictures are take from in front of the National Art Museum.

The National Aviation Museum contains a collection of planes with Canadian signifigance, mostly float and seaplanes. A nice feature of this museum, is they offer biplane rides around the Ottawa. For $39.00 you are taken up for a 20 minute flight.
| This view was taken from the forward cockpit and is looking down on the Museum of Canadian Civilization. | |

I took a drive around Lake Ontraio with the main goal being to see Niagra Falls. These photos were taken from Victoria Park on the Canadian side of the falls. This is an amazing place and when you walk up to the edge where the water goes over the horseshoe fall, you get a feel for what the early mariners would have thought to be the edge of the world. |

The American falls are split, and the yellow line that you see in this picture are tourists in yellow trash-bag raincoats. If you are on the Canadian side, they issue you a blue raincoat. |
